Nawz was a young teen when she experienced an emotionally, physically, and sexually abusive relationship. What began as acts of control exhibited by her teen-aged boyfriend at the time, the situation continued to digress into a cycle of abuse that Nawz had grown up to perceive as normal.

Watch how Nawz’s journey has unfolded as she’s entered adulthood and devoted her life to promoting public health and healthy relationships – including her own beautiful marriage – and working towards a violence-free world.
